Confederation hail forum of SC ST Legislators, Parliamentarians

R K Kalsotra, President of the state unit of the Confederation SCs, STs and OBCs hailed the formation of J&K Chapter of Forum of SC and ST Legislators and Parliamentarians of India.

He appreciated the resolve of the Forum to highlight the grievances of the downtrodden and suppressed classes especially Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled castes living in Jammu & Kashmir and for its declaration to remain in touch with central leadership for welfare of SC & ST community.
Kalsotra further said that the Confederation has always been working in camaraderie with the individuals and groups as are working for welfare of downtrodden masses and in that direction the Confederation shall also be wholeheartedly working with this forum.
Kalsotra further elucidated on the subject by stating that the political class whether it be no individual or a group, must keep on innovating to reach out to the masses particularly with those who are neglected and rendered destitute. It must be no excuse for any political leader to cite that he singlehandedly cannot do anything as during the time of seeking votes such leaders don’t say so.

They are duty bound to fulfill the promises made by them after they are elected. Kalsotra said that the creation of the forum has raised a new hope into the masses from these communities and hoped that the forum will live up-to it’s agenda as well as expectations. Departing with the golden words of Babasaheb: ‘educate, organize and agitate’, Kalsotra said that the sole mantra for success for any forum or movement for these depressed sections lie in these three words only and success is not far in case the said mantra is followed in letter and spirit with a pure conscience.
