Kargil: students come on road against reluctant examination system of Kashmir University

Traffic in Kargil Town on Thursday remained suspended for the whole day as the students of Degree College Kargil took out to streets with their demands protesting against Kashmir University.The students sat on Protest at Kalon Rahim Khan Chowk (Earstwile Lal Chowk) and didn’t allow to move traffic.
The Students were demanding on time examination, reduction in syllabus and on time exams.
Talking to media persons, the agitating students said that those who have took admission in the same course in Kashmir has almost completed graduation but students of Degree College Kargil one has to wait for more than one year to complete one sinister which is a big question mark on the sanity of Kashmir University.
The students alleged that despite in normalcy in Kashmir there is no improvement in the functioning of GDC Kargil due to late conduct of exam, starting of late classes and many more which has forced them to come on street. The students requested Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, Minster for Education Altaf Bukhari and other authorities and representatives of Kargil to solve this issue to save the future of the student.
