Leh: 3-day National Scholars’ Confluence begins

A three-day National Scholars’ Confluence begun in Leh on eve of birth celebration of the 19th Kushok Bakula Rinpoche.

The Confluence inaugurated by Speaker, Legislative Assembly, Dr. Nirmal Singh, addressing the gathering on the occasion Dr Singh express happiness for being part of celebration of legendry figure, who work hard for communal harmony in Ladakh region as well as outside. Dr Singh stressed upon the audience to follow shown by the Kushok Bakula Rinpoche.

“Meaningful interaction in such conferences gives the opportunity to come out with valuable suggestions and solutions for mitigation of the problems discussed”, he said.

Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Councellor (CEC) Leh, Dorjey Mutup appreciated the organizers for creating a platform to disseminate education of Kushok Bakula Rinpoche and his valuable contribution in promoting education in Ladakh. On the occasion, Executive Councellor Agriculture TseringWangdus, Executive Councellor, Health Gyal P. Wangyal, Councilors, National General Secretary, BJP and Director India Foundation, Chairman ICHR Prof Arvind P. Jamkhedkar, Member Secretary ICPR Prof Rajneesh Kumar Shukla, Kuldip Chand Agnihotri, Director CIBS Geshe Konchok Wangdu and other were present.
