Major Setback to PDP, Congress 25 Families from Kaksar Joined NC

National Conference District Committee Kargil today organized a function at Kaksar village of Kargil District during which more than 25 families from ruling PDP and Congress joined party fold.

Welcoming new entrants into party fold, Senior Party Leader and Former Minister Qamar Ali Akhoon, District President Haji Mohammad Hanifa Jan, Councilor Bhimbat Ghulam Rasool Nagvi, District Youth President Abass Ali Khan, Block President Haji Hassan and other functionaries’ exuded confidence that with their joining, the party will further strengthened at the grass roots level.

While addressing the gathering party leaders said that National Conference is the only destination for those who wants peace to sustain and development to remain focused agenda of the government in the State. They said that present coalition Govt. in the State as well as local Hill Council has totally failed on all front in term of starting new developmental activities in the District. They further said that NC has always fought for the rights and values of common people and will continue the same.

Prominent among those who joined NC includes Nambardar Kaksar Mohd Baqir alongwith scores of his supporters, Congress youth activist Zakir Hussain with score of his supporters and recently those who joined PDP except two families joined National Conference. It is pertinent to mention here that Kaksar village has near about 130 household out of which 100 are NC supporter.
