General Officer Commanding (GoC), Northern Command and Kargil War veteran, Lt. Gen. Y K Joshi today launched Dhruva Kargil Ride comprising of 75 bikes from the Dhruva War Memorial, Udhampur. The Ride has been launched to commemorate 22nd Kargil Vijay Diwas and the 75th Independence Day. The Ride covering Karakoram will pass through the Daulat Beg Oldie (DBO) Darbuk Leh and Kargil to converge at Kargil War Memorial, Drass on 23 Jul 2021. Two Major Generals, Four Brigadiers, 60 officers, six ladies, four wards, three civilians, one JCO and fifteen other Ranks will be part of the ride.
