First New excise policy which has created hue and cry across Jammu as the public opposed the move of the government by saying City of temples being turned into city of wine. Even public categorically stated that this government not given votes for opening of liquor outlets rather given votes for development and employment to their children’s. In several areas of Jammu women’s seen first time when liquor outlets were opened they hit roads. As women protestors still remembered what they uttered that  liquor will spoil their children’s in the days to come given the opening of liquor near Hospitals, educational institutions etc.

Now, yesterday Administrative Council which is headed by the LG has approved the decision of allowing the departmental stores to sell beverages.

Several moot questions are raised over this move of the government as to what necessitated the government to allow the departmental stores to sell beverages. Whether by the sale of beverages at the departmental stores who would be benefitted of course departmental stores owners and even the government also in this regard. But those intake the beverages they would suffer and they become easy accessible to the beverages for the reason as it is available at the departmental stores. Those who intends to buy something at the departmental stores they now can also buy the beverages but we know what are the consequences of the beverages who intake the same. This is a million dollar question which begs answers?

As it become free  for the public to drink beverages due to availability of the same at the department stores and now the parents have to keep a strict vigil on their children’s because given the present atmosphere where in we find that children’s fell prone to bad company and at the end when we came to know about the same till then it become quite late to curse.

Locals have opened a banner of revolt against the government that this government need to revisit such an order which spoils the present generation coupled with that of future generations also.

Muslims also came down heavily on the government as to why it allowed the departmental stores to sell beverages which it should not passed such an order where one can easy access to beverages and it wide reaching  ramifications of the same as such government needs to revoke such an order at the earliest. Sooner it would be the better it would be!

NC Spokesperson also reacted sharply to this government move as she termed what condemnable decisions this government is taking, adding, is this development of this government which beaten the trumpet of development time and again before the media”She regretted.

“This has left for you now to make the kashmiris to drink beverages” Sarah Hayat NC Spokesperson rued adding, is this the agenda of the government, She asked?

One of the BJP leader also unequivocally condemned the move of the government as he categorically stated that government needs to revisit such an order which is Condemnable because by selling beverages at the departmental stores it would death knell for the present generations. It is beyond ones comprehension as to why the government felt necessary to pass such snd order. If the government not revoked such an order this would have consequences of the same in the ensuing elections for the reasons that in particular community beverages are totally prohibited as such this would be a impugned order which deserves to be revoked.

Official in the government divulged allowing the departmental stores to sell beverages get the approval of administrative Council as such the one who headed the AC is empowered to revisit such an order only if there is simmering discontent over the same. He ruled out the revocation of such an order without head of AC”he lamented.

On being asked there is massive uproar by the locals over such a decision of AC , official in question divulged that this decision being taken by the administrative Council as such they have authority to looked into”he asserted.
