SMC pressed into service 104 vehicles across city who collect sacrificial animals waste: Mayor SMC

As on Eid ul Azha Muslims offered Qurbani meaning there by them sacrificed the animals for the sake of Almighty. After sacrificed of animals their waste need to be properly dispose of them. But as Muslims have to offer Qurbani at their respective homes as such sacrificial animals waste should be properly disposed of.
It has been observed that people mixed the sacrificial animals waste with the municipal wastes rather exceptions are there. Given the significance of the sacrificial animals in the Muslims community as such Muslims ensure that the sacrificial animals’ wastes should be proper disposed of.
It has been learnt that in counterpart Kashmir, Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) have activated it’s men and machinery for lifting the sacrificial animals waste so that improper disposal of waste not occurred. One of the consumer Murtaza, a local lamented that in SMC they have ready to collect the sacrificial animals waste but our Jammu Municipal corporation (JMC) not conveyed any such press conference acquainted the Jammuities about the proper disposal of the sacrificial animals waste”, he rued.
“Either it shows that the JMC don’t know about the religious ritual of Muslims where the sacrificial animals wastes have to be kept. Had they know about the sacrificial animals waste to be properly disposed of they too have pressed it’s vehicles on account of Eid ul Azha”, he categorically stated while give vent to his anger that we can’t throw the sacrificial animals wastes with municipal wastes rather it needs proper disposal. Echoing similar views, another consumer Usman rued that Muslims fraternity have to face precarious situation on the auspicious occasion of Eid ul Azha that they have to move from pillar to post for disposal of sacrificial animals wastes. It’s the JMC primary duty that before the Eid ul Azha they should ready to collect the sacrificial animals wastes so that the proper disposal of wastes takes place as per the tradition of the Islam.
“As on this Eid Ul Azha Muslims fraternity have to sacrificed the animals because in Eid ul fitr Muslims bought the mutton from the shops of the butcher’s ” Local Sahil vehemently said adding, as there are about seventy five municipal wards as such JMC should pressed its vehicles into services with proper intimation to the Muslims in the print media and electronic media about the officers, contact numbers, vehicles and also details of the wards officers”. “There should be proper disposal of hides, offal of the sacrificial animals with dignity” One of the advocate Sameer stressed adding, as JMC should ensure the same as it’s mandatory duty but of know they shirk from carrying out their duty”, he rued while turning tables against the JMC why it not discharged it’s duty which casts upon him. Muslims fraternity seeking the intervention of JMC Commissioner and Mayor JMC in this regard before it’s too late. Sooner the JMC acts the better it would be in the interest of the Muslims at large as religious sentiments of them being involved. Despite repeated attempts, Mayor JMC couldn’t be contacted for his version.
