During day long tour of Bishnah Tehsil, Dr. Vikas Sharma, Secretary Central Zone JKNC, visited various villages of Bishnah including Kotli Charkan, Bhadur Khan, Dhinday Khurd, Nougran, Deoli etc and took on spot view of problems being faced by public. He was accompanied by Sr. NC leader and block President Sham Lal Sadhotra.

He was apprised that transportation was a big issue in these villages owing to which they were suffering as there is no time schedule of transport plying there as a result students were the badly hit. Besides Irrigation Deptt have not yet released water in the canals of border areas as even annual cleanliness of canals not been done properly. This way the farmers are suffering due to non availability of canal water for irrigating the fields. The people also told that unscheduled and erratic supply of power have made the lives of people hell, which has become a ubiquitous feature now. Even farmers are suffering badly as there is no timely supply of manure and seeds to farmers. Dr. Vikas gave a patient hearing to their problems and said that he will take up these issues with concerned Departments for redressal. He, however, urged people to strengthen the hands of National Conference as it was people-friendly party which can serve as panacea of all problems with which the public is grappling under the present dispensation which is unconcerned about masses at large. He added that ever since BJP party running government from the Centre through its LG J&K Govt, people are facing tremendous problems with none to bother and day to day difficulties are getting accumulated with no solution.
