Maj Akash Singh, SC(P), a son of soil, made the supreme sacrifice on line of duty in Barasingha Battalion on 09 September 09. As a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, Mrs Deepti Sambyal wife of Maj (Late) Akash Singh inaugurated a vehicle track for Akash post (Post named in honour of Maj Akash). Also, sweets and a music system was presented to girls and widows of Nari Niketan, Mendhar by Mrs Deepti Sambyal, on behalf of Indian Army.
