The acting Finance Minister (FM) of Afghanistan left country after resignation, as Taliban is rapidly capturing important cities and provinces of the Afghanistan.
According to Aljazeera reports, Khalid Payenda, the acting finance minister of Afghanistan has resigned from the ministry after the Taliban captures key custom posts and leaving the administration starve for revenue. Reports of the finance ministers leaving the country after resignation are also coming in. the Taliban has taken over nine provincial capitals of Afghanistan in less than a week. The areas captured includes Faizabad, Farah, Pul-e-Khumri, Sheberghan, Aybak, Kunduz, Taluqan and Zaranj. Earlier owing to the increasing tension in Afghanistan, India has asked its citizens working, posted in Afghanistan to make arrangements to return to India as soon as possible.
