In a significant step taken by the All Jammu and kashmir Chess Association which is affiliated with All India Chess Federation and recognized by J&K Sports State Council to promote Gender equality in the game of Chess for which Women Ambassadors have been elected by the All J&K Chess Association.
These women ambassadors have conferred different Assignments in the Chess Association with a sole motoo that Female players also compete with Males players. This move of the Association would surely go a long way in infusing sportsmanship amongst the Female player’s as these Women Ambassadors have been chosen by the Association to provide opportunity to the Female players so that they could also participate in the different chess competitions coupled with as time passed on also brings laurels for the UT of Jammu and Kashmir by taking part in different Chess events.
Following are the Women Ambassadors which has been elected by the All J&K Chess Association.
Randeep Wazir Chairperson, Advocate Himani Kohli Managing Director, Mrs Madhu Abrol Events planning and operational head, Miss Priyanka Sehgal Branding and designing head, Mrs Bindu Pathania Technical Support and Miss Sonali Manhas Players matters and concern.
