Ahead of annual Shri Amarnath Yatra, which is scheduled to begin on June 30, after a gap of two years, the Tiger Division of Indian Army today conducted a Joint Security Coordinating Conference at Jammu.
The high-level security conference was attended by senior officers of Indian Army, Police, Civil Administration, CRPF, BSF, IAF and other officers.
Lt. Gen. Pushpendra Singh, GOC Rising Star Corps and ADGP Jammu Mukesh Singh co-chaired the conference to coordinate operational preparedness of security forces in Jammu and Samba (J&K).
Threat perception and security arrangements for Shri Amarnath Yatra were also discussed during the high-level meeting. The conference was attended by Divisional Commissioner, Jammu Ramesh Kumar, Deputy Commissioners of Jammu Avny Lavasa and DC Samba, along with IG level officers from BSF, CRPF, Deputy Director from State Intelligence Bureau, Formation Commanders and Brigade Commanders of Jammu and Samba.
