Director General of Police J&K Dilbag Singh and Financial Commissioner Home R. K.Goyal visited the holy cave today afternoon.
The DGP and FC Home and had a review of the situation and ongoing rescue operations with officers in charge of various SF Units and Civil departments along with RR Swain SDG CID, Vijay Kumar IG Kashmir, Pandurang Pole Div com, Piyush DC Anantnag and Ashish SP Anantnag and since last evening after the unfortunate cloudburst and flash floods near Shri AmarnathJi cave yesterday.
The DGP & FC Home appreciated joint response of the team in provided much needed respite to the yatris.The DGP complemented Jawans & officers of Police, CAPF, Army & civil administration for their quick & efficient response post calamity despite tough and hostile conditions. He also appreciated all stakeholders who rendered their services in evacuating the injured yatris and also taking out dead ones from the debris.
