In compliance with the orders of the Supreme Court dated February 15, March 11, and March 18, 2024, in the matter of WPC NO.880 of 2017, the Election Commission of India (ECI) today made public the data related to electoral bonds, as provided by the State Bank of India (SBI).

The SBI has furnished the requisite data pertaining to electoral bonds to the ECI today, March 21, 2024. Acting swiftly on the Supreme Court’s directives, the ECI has uploaded the data on its official website on an “as is where is basis.” The move comes in the wake of the apex court’s orders, which directed the ECI to disclose the details of the electoral bonds to uphold transparency and accountability in the country’s electoral process. In its statement, the PIB clarified that the data has been published exactly as received from the SBI, without any modifications or alterations.
