The Auspicious occasion of Eid ul Azha also known as Bakra Eid celebrated with great enthusiasm, fervour and gaity across the Union territory of the Jammu and Kashmir. Devotees thronged the respective Eidgah and offered Eid Nimaz.
As per reports devotees in large numbers offered nimaz and attired in traditional dresses. Religious scholars emphasised the Muslims ummah to maintain peace,love and brotherhood. In Eidgah Jammu,Ramzanpura Eidgah etc devotees offered the Eid prayers and seeks blessings of Almighty to relieve us of from hardships and provide us health, wealth and prosperity. Administration have made elaborate and adequate arrangements on account of Eid ul Azha and ensure that the devotees not face any inconvenience while offering Eid Nimaz. Muslims while enroute to the Eidgah should recite “Allaha hoo akbar, Allah hoo akbar, La illaha illaha, walla hoo akbar Allah ho akbar waillahi hamad and devotees recited the same which reverberated the air. Devotees have to enter the Eidgah from one route and came from it from another one. This is also mandatory for them to follow the same.
After the culmination of Eid prayers devotees embrace each other and wishes Eid to one another. “Islam religion teaches us to spread love, peace and brother hood. We see that some time miscreants portray wrong message about Islam we Muslims not allowed such miscreants to succeed in their nefarious design”, said, one of the Local while talking to the media persons. In several Eidgahs Political parties leaders, worker’s congratulates the Muslims fraternity on this Holy Eid ul Fitr and prayed to Almighty for the success.
