The team of revenue officials and Police department visited the Madrassa Bhatindi where female students take education. This Madrassa functioning since last twenty six years, even several students from different districts taking education mostly belonging to weaker sections of the society and they also memorizes the Holy Quran from this Madrassa.
Revenue officials and police Monday, visited Madrassa, it has left the religious scholars guessing as what happened that suddenly they have come in the Madrassa. As the Police came somewhere then a perception goes that something has gone awry. Visuals which emerged on the social media showed that Police vehicles being stationed outside the Madrassa. Even contingent of Police which consist of women’s police personal also guarding the Madrassa as a precautionary measure that someone not hinder their work.
Religious scholar of the Bhatindi Madrassa while talking to the media said, “Our trust under the name and style Maulana Almiya Nadmi whose case is subjudice in the court of the law for past two years. One case in Court and another in Crime branch. In that some order is being passed whereby under that trust whatever Madrassas being functioning they should be closed.”
“So, pertaining to that administration came and we did hectic deliberation with them”, he said, adding that the Waqf Board as well as Auqaf Department told, them to continue the Madrassa and the religious scholars who teach they continue to do the same.
He said that misconception was that the Madrasa also falls under that trust but the fact of the matter was that the trust registered way back in the year 2009 and Madrassa got established in the year 1997.
The Madrasa has not been seized, but some vested interest people ran a fake news, which is totally wrong. Some forces trying to communise this religious institution.
“There are about 345 girls students which are living in hostel presently and 35 students are those who came from outside. Mostly students who done their 10th and 12th Examinations they come for taking education. About staff members in this Madrassa there are about 19 total out of which 9 are Males and rest are Females”, he said, adding that the building of the Madrassa was built in the year 2003 and before it was on rent.
Despite repeated attempts, Mufti Shakeel ur Rehman could not be contacted for his version. Talking to The Hidden News, Tehsildar Bahu, Punica said, “As per the directions of the Divisional commissioner, Jammu routed through Deputy Commissioner Jammu, a team of revenue officials under her command visited the Madrasa, as the administration mulling to take over this Madrassa under FCR funding.”
