In a decisive move against corruption, the district administration of Jammu has registered an FIR against an individual for unlawfully interfering in the official operations of the Revenue Department. This swift action underscores the administration’s commitment to maintaining integrity and transparency within its operations.
According to official spokesperson, Deputy Commissioner Sachin Kumar Vaishya spearheaded the response, issuing a stern warning to deter any attempts to meddle with the department’s fair and routine functioning. “This strong message comes in the wake of an incident where an individual was found trying to improperly influence the Revenue Department’s decisions in Niabat Channi Rama”, the spokesperson said.
“The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the administration’s zero-tolerance policy towards corruption and external interference. He instructed the Revenue Department to ensure that all procedures and decisions are carried out with utmost transparency and fairness, free from any external pressure”, the spokesperson further said.
This proactive stance by DC Vaishya highlights the district administration’s dedication to upholding the rule of law and fostering a corruption-free environment. “The registered FIR serves as a warning to all, reinforcing that any attempt to influence the department’s work illegally will be met with strict legal consequences”, the official claimed.
