In an another major reform newly joined, Principal GMC&H Jammu Dr Ashutosh Gupta made mandatory phone/mobile services in the interest of patient cares from Friday.
“In the interest of public convenience, the following contact nos. of respective Control Rooms/Registration Counter shall remain fully active 24×7 for the enquiry purposes for the convenience of the patients as well as their attendants visiting these hospitals with immediate effect

GMC/23 /order/1611, dated, 28/07/2023 reads.
It, further adds all the Officers/Incharges of Control Rooms/Registration Counters with whom above mentioned contact numbers are advised to attend the public calls in letter and spirit and provide the requisite information. “It may also be ensured that these contacts numbers may be depicted by the medium of rubber stamps on the OPD/IPD/Emergency Slips for the convenience of the patients and public in general visiting to these hospitals”, the order added.
