As per eye witnesses, arms laced the goons barged into the premises of the crusher and assaulted the employees and also attempted to loot the money after vandalising the machine. The victims however, lodged a written complaint to the Police in Nagri seeking stern action against the attackers, who were reportedly sent by uncle and his nephew from Pathankot, Punjab. As per the complaint lodged, it is stated that the goons assaulted them and had he not escaped from the spot, his life would have been risked.
As per the complainant, two days have passed but no action has been initiated yet by the police on ground.
According to the information, a complaint was given to the police on behalf of Vinod Singh wherein he narrated that there is a crusher in Pandoraia area of Nagri and one Abhijeet Singh, son of Kanwar Singh, resident of Pathankot and his uncle Parmjit Singh, son of Tirarth Singh, resident of Pathankot, had sent the goons to attack the employee and vandalise the crusher.
He said in the complaint that the attackers barged inside crusher premises and attacked them with sharp edged weapons. “The clerk of the crusher also received injuries in the attack but others managed to escape,” he said in a complaint.
The complainant has demanded justice stating that the matter is also reported to the top police officers seeking immediate and strict action against the attackers.
Notably, many cases are already registered against Abhijeet Singh in Kathua district. He was also found involved in attacking crushers earlier also. “Both uncle and nephew are running a mining business in Pandoria and they try to threaten those who are into the similar trade in the district to rule into the mining business,” they said. “How can a person, against whom a complaint of murderous attack was already registered, be roaming freely and can send his goons to attack the crusher employees,” the complainant questioned in the complaint.
