A high-level Joint Security Review Meeting convened, co-chaired by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 16 Corps and the Director General of Police (DGP), signaling a concerted effort to fortify security measures in the region, at in Poonch.
Top security officials, including Additional Director Generals of Police (ADGPs) for Jammu and Law and Order, along with various Formation Commanders, congregated to synergize ongoing operations and assess preparedness for upcoming events across the exclave. The focal point of discussions revolved around enhancing coordination among security agencies and ensuring robust security protocols to counter potential threats effectively.
During the meeting, both the GOC 16 Corps and the DGP emphasized the critical need for sustained vigilance and readiness in thwarting any security challenges. ADGPs and Formation Commanders contributed strategic insights into the prevailing security scenario, outlining measures to bolster security arrangements.
