Despite being under radar of the Government for their anti-India stand, the leader of the Hurriyat Conference while condemning the dismissal of 16 government employees has asked the UT administration to revoke the authoritarian order and let them join their job.
Hurriyat termed the action of government as “arbitrary” and a merciless attempt to snatch livelihood from these people. The UT administration has dismissed 16 government employees over the last one month for their alleged connection with the terror outfits. Meanwhile the Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) in the Valley has termed this move of the administration as against the “spirit of law and the Constitution of the country” and seeks Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha’s intervention to stall the termination.
