Indian Army and J&K Police saved lives of four people trapped in flood in Juhlas of Poonch district, late Wednesday night.
“On the night of 27-28 July 2022, in a daring rescue operation carried out by the Indian Army in coordination with SDRF and J&K Police four people were rescued at Jhulas, in District Poonch”, Defence spokesperson said.
Swiftly acting upon a distress call, Indian Army rushed on spot and started rescue operation which lasted in hours and Army successfully achieved its target by saving four people trapped in flood due to incessant rains in the region.
