In a significant breakthrough, the Jammu Police have successfully solved a complex abduction and murder case, apprehending an interstate gang of criminals from Ratia Fatehbad, Haryana.
The case involved the kidnapping and killing of Mangal Singh, a cab driver from Jammu. The investigation began on August 19, 2024, when Mangal Singh’s brother reported him missing after he failed to return home from Katra. Acting swiftly, the police team traveled to Sirsa, Haryana. With support from local law enforcement and the counter-intelligence unit, they conducted multiple raids, resulting in the arrest of 11 individuals involved in the crime. The police also recovered the victim’s stolen Innova vehicle (Reg.No.JK02BG-7407).
