The Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board today announced the selection of 839 candidates for the position of Junior Engineer (Civil), UT cadre, in the Public Works (R&B) Department.
According to an official notification released by the Public Works (R&B) Department, selected candidates must provide their email IDs and contact details to the establishment section of the Public Works (R&B) Department, either in person or via email, within 21 days.
This information will be used for uploading onto the Employee Verification System (EVS), as per circular instructions from the General Administration Department.
Failure to comply within the specified timeframe will result in the forfeiture of the appointment opportunity, as stated in the notification: “On failure on this account it shall be presumed that they are not willing to take up their appointment as Junior Engineer (Civil) in the Public Works (R&B) Department and shall forfeit the right of appointment without any further notice.”
This directive highlights the importance of timely action by the selected candidates. It ensures a smooth transition into their new roles within the Public Works (R&B) Department.
