J&K Government today assigned the charge of Civil Aviation Department to Ranjan Prakash Thakur and Youth Services and Sports Department to Alok Kumar relieving M Raju of both charges given to these officers.

According to Government Order No.720-JK(GAD) of 2021, Ranjan Prakash Thakur, IRTS, Principal Secretary to the Government, Industries and Commerce Department, shall hold the charge of the posts Administrative Secretary, Civil Aviation Department and Civil Aviation Commissioner, in addition to his own duties, till further orders, relieving M. Raju, IAS, Commissioner Secretary to the Government, Jal Shakti Department of the additional charge of the post. While, Alok Kumar, IRS, Principal Secretary to the Government, Youth Services and Sports Department, holding additional charge of the post of Principal Secretary to the Government, Science and Technology Department, shall also hold the charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, addition to his own duties, till further orders, relieving M. Raju, IAS, Commissioner Secretary to the Government, Jal Shakti Department of the additional charge of the post.
