| Arms & ammunition recovered from militants killed in Rajouri |
Two terrorists have been killed in an encounter with security forces and Jammu and Kashmir Police in Thanamandi sub division of Rajouri district of Jammu division on Friday.
According to Defense PRO, on the basis of specific inputs about the presence of militants in the Pangi area of Thanamandi, a joint search operation was launched by the JKP and security forces. Getting a sense of the arrival of security forces in the area, the hiding militants opened firing on security forces. In retaliation, the security forces succeeded to neutralize the militants. According to the sources, there were at least 2-3 militants hiding and are suspected to have freshly infiltered from across the Line of Control.
