J&K: CS Mehta headed committee to clear bottlenecks on Ramban-Banihal road widening

A committee for resolution of bottlenecks in the construction of a realigned section of Ramban-Banihal NH-44 is constituted by an order of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir. 

The committee will review the progress of projects on monthly basis and will be responsible to take timely decisions for the resolution of bottlenecks, said a Government Order No. 670-JK(GAD) OF 2021 dated 02.08.2021. The committee is comprising of six members including a chairman. The members of the committee include Chief Secretary, J&K, as Chairman, Principal Secretary to the Government, Revenue Department, Principal Secretary to the Government, PW(R&B) Department, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Department of Mining, Commissioner/ Secretary to the Government, Department of Forest, Ecology & Environment, and Divisional Commissioner, Jammu as members. The PW(R&B) Department will provide services to the committee.
