The former Chief Minister of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir criticized the scrapping of the Darbar move. She asserted that the darbar moves significantly contributed to the economy of the Jammu and also has laid the foundation of the social fabric of Jammu and Kashmir.
Ms. Mufti hit out the administration for giving out the crucial mining & liquor contracts to the outsiders and alleged: “the City of temples is being converted into a city of wine.” She stated there is “no development even after the abrogation of Article 370”. She further alleged, “the only purpose of illegal abrogation of Article 370 had been to loot Jammu and Kashmir.” She also criticized the administration of UT for a surge in the unemployment and taxes.
