In the much publicised, JKPSI scam the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) have named 36 individuals including a BSF doctor, JKSSB officials including a member, Police officials and others in the case.

RC0042022A0008, under section120 B, 420 IPC read.
“Dr. Mohamad Usman Khan, Deputy Secretary, GAD, has conveyed the decision of Govt of J&K. for investigation by CBI into allegations of irregularities in written examination of sub inspector’s posts in the J&K Police conducted by J&K Service Selection Board (JKSSB), on the basis of report of inquiry committee constituted by the Govt. of J&K. The said letter and the report of inquiry committee are annexed herewith as Annexure-A& Annexure-B respectively.
Perusal of the report of Inquiry Committee constituted by the Govt. of J&K prima facie reveals criminal conspiracy amongst officials of JKSSB; M/s Merit Trac Services Private Limited, Bengaluru, beneficiary candidates and other accused persons dishonestly causing gross irregularities in conduct of written examination of Sub-Inspectors posts in the J&K Police conducted by JKSSB. Therefor, a regular case is registered against accused persons as mentioned above and unknown other”, the copy of FIR further read. Two days after registering a case, the CBI on Friday conducted raids at different places in Jammu.
It is pertinent to mention here that, Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir on July 8, had fulfilled the demand of agitating aspirants, who alleged scam in the written test conducted by the (Jammu Kashmir Services Selection Board) JKSSB for the post of Sub Inspectors in Jammu Kashmir Police, by cancelling recruitment process and handing over the case for further investigation to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI)
The CBI too with in four weeks, unearthed the recruitment nexus, further investigation into case is going.
