Some sexual allegations have been levelled by some students against the professor resultant there in administration of Jammu university suspended the Professor Chandershekar till the completion of inquiry. JUTA categorically stated that during vociferous protest Professor Chandershekar, did not given any opportunity of being heard which is blatant violation of Principles of Natural Justice, they regretted.

It is pertinent to mention here in that Vice Chancellor Jammu university through the medium of notice in the local dailies has appealed the JUTA to  call of the strike in the interest of Jammu university in particular and Students at large as the exams of students are approaching meaning there by exams are round the corner as such better would be to come back to their work of teaching so that students fraternity don’t face precarious situation due to the strike.

JUTA observed pen down strike in the Jammu university campus and they vehemently seething with anger coupled with simmering with discontent given the ugly incident which happened of Professor Chandershekar as the JUTA said who has to claimed his own life due to the compelling circumstances as such we demand fair probe so that truth come to force behind this incident. We are now feeling insecure aftermath of this shocking incident, a group of JUTA members divulged adding, we feared that now students would level wild allegations of Sexual Assault on us which is really a matter of concern as such we minced no words in saying that we demand fair probe at all so that reality behind the incident come to light.

After all CASH committee which has been constituted with a purpose to inquire into the sexual complaints required to follow the law and very norms, had they followed the rules and regulations under the law then the deceased professor Chandershekar not committed the Suicide. But Alas! Concerned officials who are the helms of affairs of the JU required to follow the norms after all they are bound by the same’, they say further.

Acting, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu, Prof Naresh Padha assured them to take up the matter with VC. He assured that he would tomorrow take up the matter with the VC, Prof Naresh Padha said while talking to the media persons adding, after all Executive Committee to be formed and that has to be constituted by the VC. However, Prof Padha admitted that ugly incident happened as Professor Chandershekar claimed life of it’s own. When asked don’t you think that it’s failure on the part of JU administration which led to this shocking incident, Prof Naresh said, “As you know today I came to do hectic deliberations with the JUTA members and it is dwelt upon that some procedure not followed due to which incident happened. Process needs to followed from both the sides if I Reacted early then others won’t follow the set procedure.”
