Shopian district of Srinagar today turned in mourning due to the killing of the Kashmiri Pandit. Once again killing of Kashmiri Pandit has brews resentment amongst the fraternity as they condemned unequivocally in bold terms the innocent killing of Kashmiri Pandit.
On one hand government boast claims of Kashmir limping back to normalcy and Kashmiri Pandits can resettle here in but the spate of innocent killings continue which punctured the claims of normalcy of the government as such now Kashmiri pandits simmering with discontent and seething with anger that this government miserably failed to ensure peaceful environment in the Kashmir region.
Pall of gloom descended on the family members when the news of killing came to know. Family members are in distress and mental trauma given the innocent death and they are inconsolable and wife of the deceased also wailing not believed that his husband has been killed.
Lieutenant Governor and Different political parties have condemned the innocent killing and expressed their deep sympathies with the bereaved family.
Kashmiri pandits across the Kashmir stepped up the ante against the ruling dispensation as they vehemently stated that government believes only in mere rhetoric but on ground they failed to provide security to the Kashmiri pandits. Kashmiri pandits rued that fear psychosis developed amongst us as they not feeling insecure as they don’t know when they would also become target of innocent killings as such they categorically urge to the government to ensure peaceful atmosphere to us. Sooner it would be the better it would be!
Kashmiri pandits demands that the perpetrator of the crime be punished as early as possible.
Even Divisional and district administration also rushed to the home of the deceased Kashmiri Pandit in order to expressed their deep condolences with the bereaved family.
