Utilizing advanced technical skills and relentless efforts, the team successfully recovered the entire amount of Rs. 6,06,000 that had been defrauded from the victims. The investigation into these online scams is ongoing, with the unit currently pursuing promising leads to recover any remaining defrauded funds. Since its establishment, the Cybercrime Investigation Unit in Kishtwar has addressed numerous reports of online scams and has successfully recovered a total of Rs. 14,86,906 to date.
