Huge quantity of arms and ammunitions recovered. Recovery of weapons with silencer hints target killings in Jammu Zone
Unmasking terror network of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) Jammu Zone Police, on Monday scripted a history by arresting seven terrorists amid ongoing Amarnath Yatra, as three terrorists arrested from Jammu, while four terrorists arrested from Rajouri.
According to News24, news channel, seven terrorists have arrested on Monday, and it was big success of Jammu Zone Police, as arrests of dreaded terrorists, made in Jammu division, that too without any loss of life. “Amarnath Yatra, is going on the arrested terrorists have plan to target but, alert security forces, failed the Pak sponsored plot on India soil. from terrorists weapons with silencer have also been recovered it also shows that they might have plan target killings, but timely respond from security forces achieved a lot in national interests”, the news channel reported.
They are more than 200 terrorists ready to infiltrate in Indian side, and the Pakistani forces providing logistic support to these terrorists with help of drones.

In a major breakthrough, Talib Hussain Shah @ Abu Ahmad S/O Haider Shah R/O Draj, Kotranka, Rajouri, LeT commander for Rajouri area who remained instrumental in almost all major terrorist activities/incidents in Pir Panjal area over last 3 years was arrested along with his associates.
He was tasked to carry out terror attacks on SFs, Minority community and prominent political figures of the area.
Talib and his associates have been found to be involved in following 5 criminal/terrorism related cases:-
FIR No. 95/2020 U/S 307 IPC, 7/25 Arms Act of PS Budhal
FIR No. 8/2022 U/S 302 IPC 7/26/27 IA Act PS Budhal.
FIR No. 25/2022 U/S 120B, 121A, 122 IPC 3/4 Ex Act, 16/18 UA(P) Act
of PS Kandi.
FIR No. 33/2022 U/S 307,120B, 121A, 122 IPC 3/4 Ex Act, 16/18 UA(P)
Act of PS Kandi.
FIR No. 31/2022 U/S 307, 120A, 121A, 122 IPC 3/4 Ex Act 13/16/18
UA(P)Act of PS Budhal.
After his arrest by
District Police Rajour and on subsequent disclosures, following recoveries have been affected alongwith 60 RR:-
ARMS/AMMO/EXPLOSIVEQUANTITY RECOVERED
UBGL grenades 3, AK 47 rifle 1, AK 47 magazine4 (Containing 120 Armour piercing rounds), Pistols 2, Pistol Magazine 5, Glock pistol silencer 1, Chinese Pistol rounds 40, IED 2kg 1, IED 05 KG 1, remote IED5 and Pressure mine 4.
Investigation has brought to fore that Talib is involved in 5 major incidents of Drone dropping-collection in which he received arms, ammunition, explosives and Indian currency from Pakistan.
The details of these droppings are being thoroughly investigated.
Moreover, Talib received 2 groups of terrorists who were transported from Kashmir to Rajouri by Talib’s associate Mohd. Shabir S/O Ghulam Hussain R/O Draj. One of these terrorists, Faisal Ahmad Dar S/O Bashir Ahmad Dar R/O Pulwama was apprehended along with Talib.
Two other terrorists- associates are still active in higher reaches of Pir Panjal.
Efforts are on to arrest/neutralize them.
With the arrest of Talib and his associates, Targain murder case , Kotranka blast case, firing on Ranjeet Singh, Anus jhuggi grenade and Shahpur grenade cases have been solved.
Arrest of Talib and his associates is a major blow to the terror outfit LeT.
With his arrest, Police has managed to solve 5 major criminal/terrorism related cases and foiled many terror incidents.
Besides the arrest of Talib, another heinous case has also been solved.
Another LeT module was working under One Altaf Hussain Shah S/O Qadir Shah R/O Draj, who has been arrested in Case FIR No. 542/2021 U/S 307/120-B/121/122 3/4 Explosives Act 13 ULA(P) (Khandli blast case) of PS Rajouri dt. 12/08/2021.
This LeT operative has been found involved in a grenade lobbying case on the residence of BJP functionary Jasbir Singh S/O Ramesh Kumar R/O Khandli.
In this incident a minor child Veer Singh S/O Balbir Singh aged 2 years had lost his life.
The action was carried out by Altaf Shah on the instructions of Pak based handler Mohd. Qasim @ Suleiman R/O Angrala, Mahore

■All these operations were possible only due to active support and timely intelligence of the local people of the District.
Investigations of all these cases are underway and more arrests and recoveries are likely.
