Says report politically motivated to benefit a party
State OBC Coordinator Madan Lal Chalotra has strongly condemned the recommendations of the Delimitation Commission in Jammu and Kashmir which has discriminated against the people to benefit a political party.
A press statement issued by Chalotra in which he said that “There is a strong resentment among the OBC people as they were ignored and their constituency was reserved as delimintion process was not to benefit the people but to help a political party.”
“The DPs, OBCs, Jatt community and border villagers have strong resentment against the Commission’s report as they were not given representations nor their constituencies were reserved,” he said. He said the Commission instead has divided the society with its report which cannot be tolerated.
Earlier he called on the Apni Party President Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari sahab and conveyed the resentment among the OBC community against the Delimitation Commission’s Report. The OBC State Coordinator was accompanied by OBC General Secretary, Darshan Mehra, Gandhi Singh, Kulbir Singh, Prem Sagar, Sukhwinder Singh Ladi and Narinder Singh and others.
