People democratic Party (PDP) in Jammu today staged massive protest against the ruling government for abrogating Article 370 and Article 35-A. Scores of protestors of PDP from party headquarters took out protest amidst heavy contingent of police have been deployed to foiled the protest of the PDP. Police not allowed the PDP protestors to proceed further from the party headquarters and even PDP protestors have to jostled with the Police to staged protest.
PDP leaders while talking to the media persons on the sideline of the protest taking dig against the ruling government that since the day abrogation of Article 370 took place it’s three years down the line and erstwhile state downgraded into Union territory and neither any development taken place neither any investment happened which punctured the very claims of the ruling government which believes in just mere rhetoric nothing else”, they rued. “Sloganeering, Kala Kanoon Wapis Karo Wapis Karo PDP protestors slogans reverberates the air during the protest on the eve of third anniversary of Article 370 and Article 35- A”, the protestors went to the extent of saying till the statehood and their rights not been restored back till will continue celebrate the abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35 A as Kala Dwas. “One can see that the everyday unemployed youths are on protest mode and UT of JK earned the dubious tag of having second highest unemployment which is pegged at about 20 percent which is really a matter of great concern”, other protestors lamented while seeking government to do needful for the unemployed youths as they are begging for the Jobs but in turn whatever Jobs advertised by the ruling government they marred by scams and Frauds, JKPSI, Finance account assistant etc.
