After raised hue and cry by the left out students of Sub Inspectors examination that there is alleged fraud and scam in the written exam conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSRB), the Lieutenant Governor had ordered an inquiry of impeccable officers in the government and they submitted a report that there takes place favouritism and nepotism in the written test conducted by the JKSSB and then government ordered scrapping of the sub inspectors list which upholds the confidence of meritorious aspirants in the LG that his excellency without any fail believed our submissions and ordered for an inquiry.
Case has been transferred to the premier Investigation agency Central bureau of investigation (CBI) for unearth the scam of sub inspectors. Today sleuths of CBI Comprising of Senior officers launched a major crackdown on the officers of JKP, teachers, JKSSRB former Chairmen, Controller examination Service selection board in order to unravel the truth behind this scam which has hogged the headlines better we say in limelight this Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection board for the involvement of his Senior officials in this scam which resulted in putting the precious career of aspirants at stake.
Following investigation conducted by the CBI, Startling revelations revealed that about 20-30 lacs of bribe has been taken from each blue-eyed aspirants by the authorities concerned and the JKSSRB officials which the CBI says this is just a tip of an ice berg. Investigation still underway and the Pandora’s box would open in the days to come as how these authorities at the cost of money played with the precious career of meritorious students.
It’s an irony that those who get their share from these aspirants as how daring they are that they without any fear of law and enforcement agencies indulged into illegal means to fill their own coffers which is really astonishing and baffling.
There is dire need for the CBI to do impartial investigation which would expose the names of all those ones who are neck deep involved in this Scam so that message would go loud and clear that if any one indulges into corrupt practices at the cost of playing with the career of gullible aspirants they should be booked under relevant provisions of the law. It is out of place to mention here in that CBI conducted searches in the residences of the concerned ones whose having alleged involvement in the SI Scam and also raided at about 36 locations across different states of the country. Amid raids, Lieutenant governor in Poonch during review meeting said those involved in this SI Scam would not be spared at all and they would be brought to book.
