The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has instructed selected candidates for the post of Draftsman (Civil) in the Jal Shakti Department to submit their email IDs and mobile numbers for e-verification of their character and antecedents. Failure to comply within the stipulated time frame may result in forfeiture of their appointment rights, as per government directives.
In a recent communication issued by the J&K Services Selection Board, candidates selected for the position of Draftsman (Civil) in the Jal Shakti Department have been directed to provide their contact information to facilitate the verification process. The communication, referencing Letter No. JKSSB-Scry/24/2023-03(E-7336923) dated 02.02.2024, mandates that candidates listed in the annexure to the notice submit their email IDs and mobile numbers to Mr. Mohammad Yaseen Bagel, Deputy Secretary to the Government, Jal Shakti Department, Civil Secretariat.
Candidates have been given a deadline of seven days from the issuance of the notice to comply with this requirement. The purpose of collecting this information is to initiate the e-verification rolls for obtaining character and antecedents from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). It is emphasized that candidates failing to submit their Personal Verification Roll (PVR) within 21 days, as mandated by Govt. Order No.1003-JK (GAD) of 2021 dated 27.09.2021, and Circular No. 18-JK(GAD) of 2022 dated 20.05.2022 issued by the General Administration Department, will forfeit their right to appointment without further notice.
The nominated nodal officer for this process, Mr. Mohammad Yaseen Bagel, has been designated to receive the contact details either in person or through email ([email protected]) or cell number (9419351723). Candidates are urged to ensure timely compliance to avoid any adverse consequences regarding their appointment status.
This directive underscores the importance of thorough verification procedures in government appointments, particularly concerning character and antecedents. The JKSSB’s proactive approach aims to uphold integrity and transparency in the recruitment process, ensuring that only eligible and trustworthy candidates are appointed to vital roles within the Jal Shakti Department.
