The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has ordered an inquiry against un-authorised absence of doctor from duty.
“Sanction is hereby accorded to the appointment of Chief Medical Officer, Baramulla as Inquiry Officer to enquire into the un-authorised absence of Dr. Afshan Iqbal (DGO), Medical Officer in light of the facts mentioned by the doctor in response to the Notice served to her. The Inquiry Officer shall submit detailed inquiry report alongwith his recommendations within fifteen (15) days from the date of issuance of the order”, Govt order no 110-JK (HME) of 2023 dated 16/05/2023, reads.
