In a proud moment for the border town of Naushera, Ms. Bhavna Kesar, the first woman to become a judge from Rajouri district, was felicitated today by the White Knight Corps of the Indian Army.
Kesar recently cleared the Judicial Services examination conducted by the J&K Public Service Commission, creating history as the first woman from Rajouri to achieve this feat. She was honored by Commander Naushera Brigade on behalf of the White Knight Corps in recognition of her pioneering accomplishment.
“Bhavna Kesar is a shining example of grit, determination and perseverance for the young girls of Naushera and J&K,” said the Brigade Commander while felicitating her along with her proud parents Mr. Naresh Kesar, a tailor, and Mrs. Kesar, a homemaker.
The border town of Naushera woke up to the wonderful news of their local daughter’s success on April 3rd. Kesar’s achievement has made the entire region proud and inspired many young aspirants.
“I am grateful for this honor from the Indian Army. My parents’ support and hard work have been my pillars of strength,” said an elated Kesar after the felicitation. Hailing from a humble background, Kesar’s perseverance paid off as she became a role model for the youth of Rajouri district. The White Knight Corps commended her pioneering spirit and untiring dedication.
