A wine shop reportedly come up on Nallah in posh last Morh Gandhi Nagar area, even on social media platforms this wine kiosk on Nallah brought the excise department under scanner and citizens reacted sharply to this wine kiosk on Nallah.

Now, the moot question arisen for the consideration whether Wine kiosk under the provisions of the law permissible, if yes, then it alright. But given the Nallah and on wine kiosk this has become the talk of the town once the video of the wine kiosk went viral on the social media. Even Civil society taking a dig against the excise department as what necessitated them to permitted this wine kiosk to run on the Nallah.

“This shows the government intent and motoo as how they are playing with the precious career of the youths that they even allowed the wine kiosk to run on Nallah”, Rohit, one of the local rued. “Government for the purpose to generate revenue went to such an extent and relaxed the norms better we say throws the norms to the dustbin. Instead of generating avenues for the unemployed youths who are grappling with the unemployment. This government for their own vested interest of fill their own kitty allowed the wine kiosk to run”, he regretted while expressed his deep anguish and displeasure against the government. “Whether under law Wine kiosk can run on Nallah, One of the advocate wishing anonymity asked? It apparently looks so not at all. Who has granted the permission to run this wine kiosk? Who is that influential one who has managed to run the wine kiosk on Nallah?

Whether the excise department aware about this wine kiosk? If yes, whether it can function. This is a million dollar question which begs answer? “JMC who otherwise takes action against the violators as well as against the vendors. But now, in the instant case they not taken any action. Rather they have maintained criminal silence coupled with not paying any heed reasons known best to them”, Swati, one of the commoner lambasted the JMC rued.

Talking to The Hidden News, Advocate Rohit Bhagat who posted a picture of this Wine Kiosk on his Facebook minced no words in condemning the JMC department functioning in allowing the Wine Kiosk to run on Nallah, he regretted. “What is the compulsion of the JMC to allow this Wine Kiosk to function”, Adv. Rohit asked and questioned the very rationale of the JMC department that on Nallah Wine kiosk being allowed to run in violation of the norms. If there has been allotment of this wine kiosk by the JMC that too on drain that is totally condemnable and unwarranted. The question which haunted is that Whether JMC made the allotment of wine kiosk? he lamented.

“What is more intriguing and baffling aspect is that JMC who otherwise on spree of conducting demolition drives since past several months adding, even not spared the vendors who in order to meet their both ends, these vendors sell the essentials they being removed from the roadside which you often seen on the social media. But, now in the instant case where on Nallah wine kiosk come up but JMC chosen to paid Nelson eye which raised eyes brows over their hypocrisy rather you says their double standards”, Adv.Rohit Bhagat vehemently asserted.

On being asked by the scribe in question do you think so that some influential having this wine kiosk due to which JMC in deep slumber, Adv. Rohit admitted that exactly some bigwig that is the sole reason JMC not removing the Kiosk. This wine kiosk being build on state land not on private land. This is blatant encroachment of the state land and if this kiosk continue to run then you will find in the days to come that Wine kiosk will come on the state land without any fear of the law. First, of all JMC department can’t made allotment of the wine kiosk on state land. If they made then it is grave violation, he vociferously responded to the query of the scribe in question. To a query whether solely JMC responsible for this wine kiosk to run, Adv Rohit divulged that no ,even Excise department is also the authority in question to dealt with the wine and bar restaurants adding, before issuing the licenses of the wine excise department have to ascertained the locations of the wine shops where they have to come up. He cited an example of medicines also that as you know that when chemists and drugstore being opened they first of all ascertained where the shops to open and all other relevant details which are required. But it’s an irony that since more than one month this wine Kiosk running with impunity by flouting the norms, he maintained. He elaborated further, that even along with this wine kiosk one kiosk that is of pan come up on nallah whose pillar installed on the Nallah? Advocate Rohit lamented. Advocate Rohit Bhagat categorically stated that JMC commissioner required to look into this grave violation of wine kiosk which has brought the JMC under flak from the different quarters. Sooner the JMC acts the better it would be!
