Appreciating the role of incumbent Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mufti Fareed and Tehsildar Zubair Ahmed Bhat of J&K Muslim Board for bringing transparency in the funking of the institution, several employees have sought immediate removal of the PA to CEO, Mohd Shfiq Mochi, who despite not being eligible for the post ‘imposed’ by their predecessors, sideling deserving and competent ones.
The incumbent, PA to CEO, previously working as donation collector at a Dargah, but he managed to reach to the post of PA few years, back and now he is interfering in other works and also harassing the shopkeepers, who are running their businesses from the shops owned by the Board and rented out to them. “With the help of this news report, we want to bring into the notice of CEO as well as Tehsildar. There is resentment among the consolidated employees, as recently an increment accorded in favour of flattery PA. We are working tirelessly that too for meagre salary of Rs 3000-4000 per month. But, hoodwinking the CEO, his PA managed to get a hike of Rs 3000 in his salary. It is injustice with hardworking employees of the Board”, said an official of the Board, whishing not to be named. “There are two graded and eligible officials for the post of PA i.e. Habibullah Parrey and Zahoor Ahmed, but have been side-lined by the administration”, they said, adding that he (PA) misleads Tehsildar and CEO, manages transfers of the employees. His misdeeds brining bad name for the Board and the CEO as well.
