The wait for announcement for post of Mayor and Deputy of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) finally came end as BJP high command selected two leaders to the task.
“Rajinder Sharma has been nominated for Mayor and Baldev Singh Billowria as Deputy Mayor”, sources told The Hidden News. The Housing and Urban Development Department has already issued notification to the top post fell vacant, after registration by Mayor and Deputy Mayor on 24th September.
The Jammu Municipal Corporation on 13th October, issued notification for elections, and elections would be held on 21 October.
