India has recorded surge in the numbers of COVID-19 cases with 39,070 cases recorded in last 24 hours. With this number, the total COVID cases has jumped to 31,934,455 across India.
With the rise in numbers, the daily fatalities have also increased. Total number of deaths reported yesterday were 491. According to the Ministry of health, the active cases has declined to 4,06,822 in the same time period. The recovery rate has also improved to 1.2 per cent across the country and the number of active cases has also fell by 5331. On the other hand, the Vaccination is running at a slow pace. So far only 500 million people has been vaccinated across the country.
