When Choudhary Ghulam Nabi Khatana was nominated as MP of Rajya Sabha, “You said he is not capable men, Kazmi vehemently replied, “I do not say like that rather that statement was like that President nominated persons and in which names of Tendulkar and Dilip Kumar also figured and that is the prerogative of the president after all. I did not have commented personally and the nomination has its own sanctity and same must be maintained.”

Responding to a query that it has been said that Media was not allowed to work whether that pressure build on your newspaper, Sohail Kazmi dispel the statement by saying the wrong interpretation rather question is something else and as you know very well in a democratic country everyone has a equal right to put forth his views and also laid stress on the Journalists as to different forms of Journalist these days we found as some Journalist do investigative Journalism and some from home take Mike and that is yellow Journalism. Kazmi distinguished between the fair Journalism and the yellow Journalism by saying those who conducted the interviews of political leaders and bureaucrats that come within the ambit and framework of the Constructive Journalism.
