Former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti launching a blistering attack on the ruling dispensation as she questioned that they claims to be Dogra so why can’t they made LG of Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Picking holes in the functioning and maladministration of the BJP, She slammed that outsiders are posted in J&K administration as well as in the Police.
Mehbooba Mufti made these remarks while addressing the party convention here at Gandhi Nagar Jammu. “Why our LG is not Dogra, why our Advisors are not Dogras ” Mehbooba lamented adding, she is not saying that they should be Muslims rather they are of any religion but should be dogras” she mocked at the ruling party.
Mehbooba gives vent to her anger and went to the extent of saying that on important positions as that of DGP, IGPs etc outsider’s are enjoying the lucrative postings and the dogras are being deprived of the same. Those who said we would make Hindu Chief Minister but why not they have guts to make Dogra LG rather they miserably failed to do it.
Jammu and Kashmir UT need to emulate from the UT of Ladakh as how to get United when to show their United face in order to fulfilled their demands and presently inhabitants of ladakh are stationed in Delhi forcing the central government to accede to their requests and which is a novel way to staged protests. As one reached Delhi his voices being reached to a higher forum as such we the UT of Jammu and Kashmir rise to the occasion and analyse as how much important it would be to get United for their cause, Mehbooba maintained.
“People of Jammu are being destroyed by this government ” Mehbooba said that she thought sometimes that my Father Mufti sahib had he been alive he would have surely peeved to see the present anarchy in the UT of JK. She vividly remembered her father saying that we should be fortunate to be in India where people like Indira Gandhi was born and she lost by one vote where in people used to say “Indira is India”.Even Judges of India made the Indira Gandhi to suffered the defeat and She showered praises on the media of that era which not did any discrimination between Hindus and Muslims” She added.
“Democracy is at its last throes which can be evident from the fact that Hum do and Hamare do reached at the spot where the party win and makes that winning party to bite the dust” Mehbooba asserted. Referring to the working of the courts, Mehbooba Said that see the condition of the courts that Judges of the district courts not mustered courage to grant bail. Even judges who got retired after given the Judgements of the Ayodhya, Triple Talaq and demonetization they are being given different assignments as that of LG and Rajya Sabha member. She said that this is not at all the independence of the Judiciary.
Of this country will power and strength lies in the Judiciary, democracy and the Media. Countering the media, Mehbooba said that media these days called the people from different religions on debates and there in takes place war of words between them as of one particular religion individual spotted a beard and another religion applied a tilak which is not true Journalism at all rather several channels are operating like this in the country who divide the people on communal lines. Even several channels called me but i have chosen my self to boycott the same, She vehemently rued.
Mehbooba quick to add as she categorically stated that those media who are present here in are not responsible for such type of debates to be organized adding, rather it’s Hum do and Hamare do from them they get the directions to show what and what not”She added. Mehbooba also taken up the matter of Pensioners that they are being made to stand in long serpentine queue adding, rather these pensioners for standing in queue ended up in heart failure. This is a deliberate move of the government to bullied and harassed the Muslims and nothing else. Government wants that Hindus should not stand in queue. Taking the dig against the government, Mehbooba said that Adani deliberately brought to India from the UAE in order to shield him and it is not the fight between Hindus and Muslims. By demolishing houses of the Muslims, they will makes you happy but remember this is not at all the happiness rather it breaks ones heart.
Mehbooba castigated the government of constructing hospitals, parks after demolition houses. She said see the present pitiable conditions of the government Hospitals who are reeling under the shortage of infrastructure and are crumbling. “Have you ever listen that after razed to ground the houses of the people, One can construct the Hospitals? Mehbooba asked. Mehbooba said that rich land grabbers in the PDP have Joined the BJP as they threatened that in case you not Joined then ready to face dire consequences of the same as such they joined the ruling party. “This is the only party which stand against the country and they said they have strong leadership but how come China intrude into our country” Mehbooba questioned the ruling dispensation and pooh- the tall claims of the government
