Former Chief Minister and PDP President Mehbooba Mufti today said that the PDP workers have been asked to serve them pilgrims, as Shri Amarnath Yatra which is going to be start from next month.
“I have urged the Party workers of south Kashmir that these devotees of Amarnath will be provided with all sort of help after all they are our guests”, Mehbooba told the media.
“It is our tradition in whole Jammu and Kashmir to provide all sort of adequate arrangements for the Amarnath Yatris”, she said, adding that as you aware well that in whole Country brazen attempt has been made to divide Hindus and Muslims on communal lines.
“Everywhere muslims are being targeted, be it Uttrakhand or elsewhere”, the former CM Mehbooba said, who recently during her Poonch visited a temple and had offered water on Shivlingam.
“The present scenario which is prevailing resultant, efforts are being made to widen the gap between Hindu and Muslims”, she said, added, “Our J&K, which is an epitome of peace and tranquillity.” “Ensuing Amarnath yatra is resplendent occasion for us and we should set an example to the country what is Kashmiriyat, Mehbooba added.
She enjoined upon the party workers to leave no stone unturned to make the Yatra successful. She also said that welcome them (Yatris) with open heart so message goes in the country of peace, love and brotherhood. Mehbooba also requested the Government that during the time of facilitating the Amarnath yatris they should not put the Kashmiris to inconvenience and hardships.
