The All reserve categories joint action committee team (ARCJACT) from Jammu and Kashmir today called upon Bhim Army Chief, and Azad Samaj Party’s (ASP) Chief Patron Chander Shekhar Azad at Saharanpur UP, during the meeting Azad assured full support to cause of schedule tribes (STs) of J&K.
The ARCJACT team from Jammu & Kashmir met Chander Shekhar Azadand apprised him about the constitutional bill which is included in the list of bills to be considered for their passage in the parliament. The team of activists from J&K informed Mr Azad that in order to dilute the reservation of genuine ST people of J&K, an illegal commission has recommend upper castes and rich people for their inclusion in the schedule tribe category which shall seriously prejudice the rights of genuine ST people.
Mr Azad hearing the team patiently, assured full support to the ST, people of JK and appealed to all reserved categories particularly Gujjars of Bharat varsh to support their brethren in Jammu and Kashmir for protecting their constitutional rights.
It is pertinent to mention that Chander Shekhar Azad is staunch supporters of reservation and idea of reservation in India and he always remain forefront to protect minorities’ rights across India.
Azad also assured deputation that their genuine demand will be taken seriously and extended support to the cause in Jammu and Kashmir. The team was compromised with tribal activists Talib Hussain, Adv. Mohd Azam, Adv. Mohd Akram, Attah Ullah Niazi, Rafaqat Aijaz, Murtaza Badana along with Bhim Army president of Jammu and Kashmir Pawan Loni and others. The visiting team thanks Bhim Army Chief for his support to the cause of underprivileged SCs, STs and OBCs of J&K.
