In a major development, the Economic Offences Wing-Crime Branch Jammu has taken decisive action against individuals involved in a Rs. 35 lakhs Kitty Party fraud.
The investigative team presented a 396-page charge sheet before the Court, outlining charges of criminal conspiracy, cheating, and defrauding citizens of their hard-earned money through deceptive Kitty party schemes.
The accused, identified as Pinky Gupta (also known as Saroj Gupta) and Shiv Partap Gupta, residents of Green Enclave near J&K Board of School Education, Rehari Colony, Jammu, faced criminal proceedings following a written complaint lodged by Neelam Malhotra and others.
