The operation was set in motion after the Kishtwar Police Station received a written complaint regarding the kidnapping of a woman along with her children, whose identity is being protected. Acting swiftly, a case under FIR No. 271/2023 was registered at Police Station Kishtwar, marking the commencement of a thorough investigation.
Under the directives of SSP Kishtwar, a specialized team was formed, helmed by SHO Police Station Kishtwar, Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday, and PSI Ankush Kumar, operating under the supervision of Dy. SP (Hqrs) Kishtwar, Dr. Ishan Gupta. Utilizing a combination of strategic planning and technical resources, the team conducted raids at various suspected locations. After relentless efforts, the missing woman and her children were traced to Gujarat State.
