In a heartwarming success story, the Kishtwar Police have orchestrated a successful operation leading to the recovery of a kidnapped woman and her minor children. The relentless efforts of law enforcement culminated in the joyful reunion of the family.

The operation was set in motion after the Kishtwar Police Station received a written complaint regarding the kidnapping of a woman along with her children, whose identity is being protected. Acting swiftly, a case under FIR No. 271/2023 was registered at Police Station Kishtwar, marking the commencement of a thorough investigation.

Under the directives of SSP Kishtwar, a specialized team was formed, helmed by SHO Police Station Kishtwar, Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday, and PSI Ankush Kumar, operating under the supervision of Dy. SP (Hqrs) Kishtwar, Dr. Ishan Gupta. Utilizing a combination of strategic planning and technical resources, the team conducted raids at various suspected locations. After relentless efforts, the missing woman and her children were traced to Gujarat State. The meticulous execution of the operation, coupled with adherence to legal procedures, facilitated the safe recovery of the abducted family members.

District Police Kishtwar seized this opportunity to extend gratitude to the general public for their cooperation and urged them to continue supporting law enforcement in combating social crimes within their communities. They emphasized the importance of community engagement and encouraged individuals to share any pertinent information related to social crimes with the police.

Assuring continued dedication to the safety and security of the community, the Kishtwar Police reiterated their commitment to upholding law and order. The successful recovery of the kidnapped woman and her children serves as a testament to the unwavering resolve of the police force in safeguarding the well-being of citizens.
